The neckline patch is the centrepiece of this design and the most worked element on the shirt. It is a large, elongated panel running from the keyhole neckline down the front centre, densely filled with white thread embroidery in interlocking arch and column patterns, with fine cutwork sections and a scalloped lace border along both sides of the panel. The embroidery on this patch is detailed and close-set, and the white thread against the amber printed base creates a sharp and well-defined contrast. The neckline itself is finished with a round keyhole opening framed by the same embroidered border.
The bazu, or sleeve cuff, carries a separate embroidered patch in a contrasting colour with deep red, brown, and gold thread work featuring floral and paisley motifs.
